Pevely, MO (July 25, 2009) For the second time this season, Randy Korte of Highland, Illinois has won both the UMP Late Model and UMP Modified main events on the same night at I-55 Raceway. This time however, he completely swept both divisions by winning his heat race, dash and main event in both classes and led every single lap of both main events. In the UMP Late Model main event, Mark Voigt made a great race of it, but Korte used lapped traffic in the closing laps to distance himself from Voigt enroute to the victory. Voigt would finish second. Ed Dixon had one of his best runs of the 2009 season at I-55 Raceway as he ran a close third to the leaders while holding off the hard charging Tim Manville who finish fourth. Jeff Johns completed the top five. This was Korte's seventh UMP Late Model feature win in ten visits during the 2009 racing season at I-55 Raceway!

Pevely, MO (June 27, 2009) Mark Voigt of Marine, Illinois claimed his second UMP Super Late Model victory of the 2009 racing season at I-55 Raceway. Voigt took the lead at the drop of the green flag from the front row pole starting spot as he beat outside front row starter Craig Smith into the first turn. Rickey Frankel moved past Smith and Ed Dixon on the opening lap to take over the second spot and gave chase to Voigt. Frankel could get to within a couple of car lengths of Voigt, but couldn't make a serious bid for the lead. Voigt went on to win with Frankel taking second. Tim Manville moved past Dixon and Smith to take over the third spot. Tim Ratajczyk would get the fourth position with Dixon rounding out the top five.
