Pevely, MO (April 7th, 2012) Tim Ratajczyk of Millstadt, Illinois grabbed his first UMP DIRTcar Late Model feature win in several years at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Ratajczyk started on front row pole for the main event and used the low side to pace the field for the entire twenty-five laps. Jason McBride kept Ratajczyk within striking distance for most of the main event as he would get a nose under Ratajczyk going into each corner, only to have Ratajczyk pull away at the exit of the corners. Scott Weber got everyone's attention in the closing laps when as he decided to go to the high side on lap twenty and appeared to find a fast line. Weber would get past McBride and challenge Ratajczyk for the lead. Weber appeared to be going to come up short for the win when the yellow flag came out with just one lap to go. This gave Weber one final chance on the restart. Weber would again go to the high side but Ratajczyk proved just too good around the bottom and held on for the win. Weber would get second with McBride finishing third. Ken Rumble would finish in the fourth spot. Andrew Johns continued his great start to the 2012 season at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 with his second straight top 5 performance to open the racing season.

Pevely, MO (March 31st, 2012) - Dewayne Kiefer finished the UMP DIRTcar Late Model main event by dominating the closing laps to earn his feature win ever at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Rusty Schlenk started on the front row pole but was challenged for the lead on the very first lap by Kiefer who started fourth. The two raced side by side for a couple of laps before Kiefer pulled ahead using the low side. A caution would reset the field on lap seven and Schlenk made another challenge for the lead using the high side. Schlenk would get past Kiefer and lead two laps before Kiefer would again take over the top spot on the low side. With the rest of the event going caution free, Kiefer would pull away to a dominating win. That left a huge battle for the second spot with Schlenk, Scott Weber and Ron McQuerry. Schlenk continued to run on the high side with Weber in third around the bottom with McQuerry behind Weber. With ten laps to go, McQuerry moved to the middle of the track and swept past Weber into the third spot. One lap later, McQuerry would move past Schlenk and take the second spot. McQuerry would get his best finish ever at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 with his second place run. Schlenk would hold off Weber to finish third with Weber taking fourth. Andrew Johns was the big mover in the field as he came from the fourteenth starting spot to round out the top five.
