Pevely, MO (June 23, 2007) Mike Marlar of Winfield, TN led only one lap of the forty lap main event, but it was the money lap as he picked up his second victory in UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals action. Billy Moyer looked strong all night as he started off the night by setting a new track record during qualifying with a time of 12.081 seconds, besting his old track record that he set just three weeks earlier during the UMP DIRTcar Tri-Track Challenge. Moyer started on the pole for the main event and led the first thirty nine laps before surrendering the lead to Marlar.

Collins, Walsh, Medley, Harris & Fisher take wins at I-55 Raceway!

Pevely, MO (June 16, 2007) Bryan Collins of Elsberry, MO stormed to his second UMP Late Model feature win of the year at I-55 Raceway. Collins held off a late charge by Craig Smith in the closing laps. Billy Laycock crossed the line in third with Ron McQuerry fourth and Danny Haynes fifth.

Ray Walsh won his first UMP Modified main event of 2007 at I-55 Raceway. Walsh led wire-to-wire in the main event with Marty Smith, Jr. making a late charge to challenge Walsh in the closing laps. Smith would come up short at the end and settle for second. Point leader Bobby Bittle crossed the line in third with Mark Miner taking fourth and Bobby Martintoni completed the top five.

Pevely, MO (June 9th, 2007) The United Midwestern Promoters (UMP) Modifieds had the fans on their feet most of the night with some thrilling two, three and even four wide racing throughout the night. It was I-55 Raceway co-owner and NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader that topped the forty car field as he just edged out Bobby Bittle and Bobby Martintoni for the win. In one of the best modified features in recent memories, Schrader, Bittle and Martintoni raced three wide for most of the final eight laps. Meanwhile, Mike Harrison, Ray Walsh, Scott Weber and Matt Mevert all staged a battle right behind the top three keeping seven cars running in a tight pack at the front. As they crossed the line, Schrader took the win just ahead of Bittle who was second, Martintoni third, Harrison fourth and Walsh fifth.

Pevely, MO (June 2, 2007) I-55 Raceway dodged Mother Nature as rained and thunderstorms roared the much of the area all day and into the evening all throughout the area. A light drizzle fell at I-55 Raceway for about 30 minutes just before hotlaps were to begin and although it wasn't enough to stop the action, it provided the fastest laps ever recorded around the 1/3 mile high banked oval by dirt late models. Fifteen of the thirty-eight drivers that took qualifying times broke the old track record during qualifying for the second leg of the Northern All-Star Series/United Midwestern Promoter's Tri-Track Challenge. Billy Moyer ended up destroying the old track record by 4/10 of a second with his lap of 12.203 seconds. The old record was held by Justin Allgaier and was 12.610 seconds.

Pevely, MO (May 26, 2007) I-55 Raceway was racing Mother Nature all night long as storms brewed all around the area. Mother Nature finally won out during the UMP Modified feature, but fortunately the UMP Late Model and UMP Sportsman features did get completed.

Justin Allgaier of Riverton, IL made his first visit of the 2007 season to I-55 Raceway in his UMP Late Model and picked up the victory. Allgaier, who is currently 2nd in points in the ARCA Re/Max Series, jumped out to the lead from his front row pole starting position and pulled away in the early laps. However, Craig Smith moved to the top and began reeling him in and moved past Allgaier on lap seven for the lead. Smith opened up a small lead before the caution flew on lap twelve. On the restart, it didn't take long for Allgaier to work his way past Smith to regain the lead. Smith stayed glued to Allgaier's rear bumper for the remaining laps, but Allgaier proved too strong and became the sixth different winner in six events in the UMP Late Model division at I-55 Raceway this season. Smith took the second position with poing leader Bryan Collins taking third, Brian Dively crossed the line fourth and Mark Oller completed the top five.
