Pevely, MO (October 24, 2009) Randy Korte of Highland, Illinois claimed his second UMP DIRTcar Ken Schrader Modified Challenge at I-55 Raceway this year. Korte also took the win back on July 29th during the makeup of last year's event that was postponed by rain. Seventy-three UMP DIRTcar Modifieds were on hand on what turned out to be a beautiful Saturday afternoon race. The fans that were on hand were treated to a spectacular main event in which three different drivers led during the forty lap affair.

I-55 Raceway unable to reschedule Pepsi Nationals for 2009!
Pevely, MO (September 23, 2009) I-55 Raceway and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series regrettfully were unable to come up with a suitable date to reschedule the I-55 Raceway Pepsi Nationals event this year. I-55 Raceway and the World Of Outlaws Late Model Series are negotiating the possibility of scheduling a WoO Late Model event early in the 2010 racing season along with the 2010 Pepsi Nationals in September.

Clanton Looks To Regain Winning Rhythm With Return To I-55 Raceway For Pepsi Nationals' On Saturday
But when the national tour returns to the one-third-mile oval on Saturday night (Sept. 19) for the 27th annual Pepsi Nationals, Clanton will be looking to recapture the winning rhythm he flashed through the late-summer and early-fall of 2008.

Pevely, MO (September 12, 2009) Mother Nature provided nearly perfect weather and 134 race cars filled the pit area on Season Championship Night at I-55 Raceway. The points battle in three of the four divisions would come down to the final night of the points chase.
